Hong Kong Consumer Prices Rose 1.3%
August 20, 2010 - According to the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Hong Kong’s overall consumer prices rose by 1.3% in July 2010 over the same month a year earlier, smaller than the corresponding 2.8% increase in June 2010, as affected by the Government’s payment of public housing rentals in July 2010. |

Hong Kong’s Unemployment Rate Falls to 4.3%
August 17, 2010 - According to the latest labor force statistics released today by the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased from 4.6% in April - June 2010 to 4.3% (provisional figure) in May - July 2010. The underemployment rate remained unchanged at 2.0% (provisional figure for May - July 2010). |
