Financial Results for the Two Months Ended May 31, 2010
June 30, 2010 - The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) announced today its financial results for the two months ended May 31, 2010.
Hong Kong Exchange Fund Amounts to US$281.12 Billion
June 30, 2010 - Total assets of the Hong Kong Exchange Fund amounted to HK$2,192.8 billion (US$281.12 billion) on May 31, 2010. This is HK$6.1 billion (US$782.05 million) lower than at the end of April 2010, according to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Hong Kong Consumer Prices Rose 2.5%
June 22, 2010 - Hong Kong’s overall consumer prices rose by 2.5% in May 2010 compared with the same month a year earlier, according to the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG). This is slightly larger than the corresponding 2.4% increase in April 2010.
Hong Kong Benefits From The Flow of Foreign Direct Investment Into Asia
June 22, 2010 - Hong Kong Chief Executive, Mr. Donald Tsang, today (June 22) hosted a cocktail reception to thank the foreign investors whose presence in Hong Kong is a testimony to its position as Asia’s international business and finance center. The cocktail reception, attended by about 300 top executives, is an annual event to warmly welcome overseas, Mainland and Taiwanese companies that have set up or expanded in Hong Kong during the past year.

June 17, 2010 - Hong Kong’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased from 4.4% in February-April 2010 to a provisional 4.6% in March-May 2010, according to the latest labor force statistics released today by the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
