March 6, 2020 - The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today that the official foreign currency reserve assets of Hong Kong amounted to US$446.1 billion as at the end of February 2020, compared with US$445.7 billion at end-January 2020.

There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at end-February 2020 and end-January 2020.

The total foreign currency reserve assets of US$446.1 billion represent over six times the currency in circulation or about 46 per cent of Hong Kong dollar M3.
